Magpie Childcare's service to you Magpie Childcare will provide a safe and secure environment to care for and nurture your child and provide a developmentally stimulating environment to enable your child to reach its full potential. Contracts are drawn up for every placement, detailing the hours, fees, terms and conditions. Each party will sign and receive a copy of the contract for their reference. Fees are available on request and are dependent on the age of the child and the number of sessions the child attends. All prices include meals at appropriate times (lunch and tea), snacks and drinks. You will receive regular newsletters to keep you informed of themes that are being covered, as well as forthcoming activities and events that may be of interest to you and your family such as weekend events for you to attend with your child. For the under 5s a daily diary is provided which is used to inform you about the day to day life of your child here and has a space for you to respond with any comments or give any information about your child that may needed such as restless nights etc. Magpie Childcare is able to undertake school runs to certain schools and pre-schools in the area, but this must be discussed before the contract is signed as children are currently collected from schools in the local area and therefore there are limitations as to others that can be collected from. |
Registration Magpie Childcare complies with all the requirements of registration as laid down by Ofsted and the Childrens Act 1989 relevant to childminders. I will be required to give your child's name and date of birth to our Ofsted Inspector. All parents must inform me of any changes to the information they have given me, both on the contract and the child record form. Insurance Our public liability insurance is a group policy through the NCMA. We comply with all the requirements of the insurance company.
