Magpie
Childcare is committed to provide excellent quality
Magpie does this by providing toys and activities that are stimulating and educational such as craft activities, games, puzzles, construction equipment, singing, stories, physical play and role play. 'home away from home' experiences are also provided such as visits to local shops and supermarkets, parks, library story time sessions, toddler groups and soft play activity groups and places of interest. We go on outings throughout the year to places such as Coombe Park and Ryton Pool. Extra toys and equipment are sourced from a toy library loan system at the Early Years Education and Childcare Centre. |
Magpie Childcare takes its responsibilities seriously and workshops and courses are undertaken for self-improvement and to update on current methods and legislation. Sara has completed and passed the NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education and she has been awarded a Foundation Degree in Early Years. Regular inspections are undertaken by Ofsted, as well as monitoring visits from the Network Co-ordinator and Early Years Advisory Teacher. Sara is chairperson of Minder's The Word, a Childminding Group in Rugby. |
